Our mission is to provide shelter,
sustenance, education, and medical care for orphans, other
vulnerable children, and people living with HIV-AIDS
within the project area; to curtail the spread of
HIV-AIDS; to teach life skills (language, financial
responsibility, academic achievement, vocational training,
and self-sufficiency), and to create hope and
opportunities for future generations. Mufindi Highland Orphans Project (MHOP) is
supported in part by Mufindi Orphans, Inc. (MOI), a
non-profit organization set up and registered in the
United States in 2005 to raise funds for combating the
HIV/AIDS epidemic and the resulting orphans dilemma in
Tanzania. MHOP also draws support from non-USA donors. |
